Updated: Italian woman hit by bus in Tower Road, Sliema

An 32-year-old Italian woman, currently residing in Valletta, suffered serious injuries, after she was hit by a bendy bus in Tower Road, Sliema. It is being reported that the incident happened at 5:45p.m. while the woman attempted to cross the road. The driver of the bendy bus is a 26-year-old from Paola. The woman was rushed to hospital; despite suffering serious injuries the woman is not in danger of dying.
