Inspector Johann Vella told the court, the accused stole groceries and a car stereo from a car parked in Fgura.
Magistrate Claire Stafrace Zammit found the youth guilty as charged and handed her a two year suspended sentence.
Dr Mark Vassallo appeared for the accused.

Anthony Abela, 42, of Qormi was remanded in custody over an attempted theft from GO offices at Sa Maison.
Magistrate Doreen Clarke heard how the attempted theft took place at around 5:00pm. Abela, is a recidivist and has a drug addiction said he was not guilty of the charges.
Inspector Carlos Cordina prosecuted while Dr Simon Micallef Stafrace appeared for the accused.
