Fire engulfs tomato depot in Burmarrad – videos and pictures

CPD director John Rizzo said that no reports of injuries have so far been registered at an extensive fire which this afternoon engulfed a trailer  in a tomato depot in Burmarrad. A series of explosions were reported inside a centre where Maltese farmers take their tomatoes before they are taken to Gozo for processing. The centre is located in Burmarrad. An ambulance was sent onsite as a precaution.
