PN says Debono’s appointment was partisan and an insult to the opposition

The Nationalist party has today issued a statement where it said that Dr Franco Debono's appointment to head and coordinate the constitutional reform was an a partisan decision and an insult to the opposition. Constitutional reform requires political unity, yet Dr Debono is a divisive figure according to the PN. The Labour party in a reaction said said that this government will continue to make use of individuals that can contribute to the country. The PL also said that the PN has yet not learnt from its mistakes despite the recent electoral defeat.
