Drug find in van dashboard in Prison

A heroin and methadone find in the dashboard of a van at the Corradino Corrective Facility took place this afternoon. The search took place at about 15.30h and the van was at the prison to provide electronic services. The person driving the van is being held for questioning while the police are pursuing investigations. This drug find comes hot on the heels of another drugs related issue when earlier this week two prison officers tested positive for cocaine in a random testing spree ordered by the ministry.
