Grand Lottery revamp underway

A revamp of the Grand Lottery is underway as Maltco Lotteries announced that the ticket price has been reduced to €3 (from €10) and a draw will be held every week from September 13^th 2013. The lottery was previously drawn every two months. Sales start tomorrow and the first jackpot will be of €1,270,000 since the previous jackpot was not won. CEO Ioannis Katakis said that if the jackpot is claimed, the new starting jackpot for the first winning category will be at least €500,000. Apart from the top prize for whoever gets all the numbers correct and in the right order, there will be lower categories which will include prizes ranging from €4,500 to €300.
