Couple draw claws over housecats, as the Court hears of the reasons why a man dented his partner's car. Fifty-one yer old Theodisio Badacchino was arraigned in court for damaging his girlfriend's car in a quarrel. Baldacchino and his girlfriend, Ritienne Borg have been living together for the past six years in Mr Maldacchino's apartment. Ms Borg acquired and housed an unspecified number of cats, to which Mr Baldacchino objected. A quarrel flared up between the two and Mr Baldacchino allegedly left in high dudgeon and dented his girlfriend's car in the process. Inspector Roderick Agius objected to Mr Baldacchino being released on bail since he said that the evidence may be tampered with. Defence lawyer said that the case was so frivolous that the accused deserved  bail. The Courtt granted bail set at  €700 and a personal guarantee of €10,000.
