Updated: Five year old, run over, suffers grievous injuries

[23video id="8038684" token="ce177fe04e9615c4469944acea68e8c0" width="665" height="374"] [23video id="8038636" token="3ee6f009106aff35db75c1d179913375" width="665" height="374"] A young boy suffered grievous injuries, after being run over in Msida, at around 8:15a.m. Witnesses told tvm.com.mt that the kid, aged five, was playing with his tricycle in the parking space close to the GWU Freedom monument, when for some reason ended up cycling in one of the lanes in this very busy road. It was at this point that a man, aged 68 from Pembroke, ran him over. While the impact is said to have not been violent, however, the kid suffered grievous injuries and had to be rushed immediately to hospital. [gallery ids="37012,37020,37022,37021"]
