Malta, Libya sign preliminary for international educational centre

[23video id="8703383" token="bc885dd140f9980065a7b3c8337d2d14" width="665" height="374"]   The Maltese and Libyan governments have signed an agreement for the development of the ta Giorni Libyan School premises which will eventually be transformed into a vocational centre. The Libyan Higher Vocational Institute Centre of Excellence at Ta’ Giorni will have and investment of  €22.4 million. The centre will be opening its doors to international students. The agreement was signed between Education Minister Evarist Bartolo and Libya’s Minister for Labour and Capacity Building Mohamed Swalem. The first phase of the institute’s internationalisation project includes a €1.4 million refurbishment. Minister Swalem said that Malta was considered the closest among the countries that were close to Libya. It had the necessary experience to help Libya for this educational project.
