A woman was hit by a car today at about 5.45 p.m., in Cliffs street Dingli.
Preliminary investigations showed that the 67-year-old woman, residing in Dingli was crossing the street when she was hit by vehicle of make Honda Accord, driven by 19-year-old man, also residing in Dingli.
The woman was taken to Mater Dei by an Ambulance and was later certified to be suffering injuries of grievous nature.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
