PS Buontempo announces setting up of ‘one stop shop’ for youths

[23video id="8082744" token="658a9d9532a166b30f8b7619e9bca70e" width="665" height="374"] Parliamentary Secretary for youth and sport Stefan Buontempo announced that in a few weeks, Agenzija Zghazagh will open a 'one stop shop' in Old Theatre street Valletta. The concept this new office is based on, is that youths can now have an accessible point from where they can seek help in various areas, including from ETC, Social Housing and Education services. Asked by tvm.com.mt if Agenzija Zghazagh is ready to give such a service from human a resources point of view, Mr Buontempo said that the Government will provide officials from ETC, Social Housing and those from the education department, to provide assistance from this one stop shop. The service will not be on full time basis, but will have specific hours so that young people can be assisted even when they encounter social problems. Mr Buontempo announced these initiatives in a press conference by APS related to the Youth Specialisation Studies Scheme, which is a low interest loan for youth who want to pursue studies abroad.
