UHM to launch ‘Jobs Plus’ document

A document outlining the obligations of employers and employees is set to be launched in the coming days. During a visit to Allied Newspapers and Progress Press, UĦM General Secretary, Josef Vella gave details on the document ‘Jobs Plus’, which has the approval of social partners. Mr Vella visited the establishments as part of the activities marking Workers’ Day, celebrated on May 1. Some 100 persons are employed with Progress Press; in total Allied Group employees 250 persons.
