Housing Authority CEO to keep his job

The Housing Authority's Chief Executive Officer Albert Buttigieg will be keeping his job, this has been confirmed by Minister Marie Louise Coleiro Preca at a press conference earlier today in which she officially presented the Board of Directors of the Authority to the media. The confirmation of Mr Buttigieg as CEO comes days after he was asked to accompany the Minister to tour specific Housing residences which lacked proper amenities. Dr Coleiro Preca revealed that the Authority's human resources will be beefed up in order to fast track pending applications with specifically pre set time frames. She stressed on the importance that all structural works done by contractors are scrutinized to make sure that the finished projects are completed according to the standards set.
