Gavin Gulia is MTA’s new Chairman

The Government has appointed Dr Gavin Gulia as Chairman of the Malta Tourism Authority. In a press statement the government said that the other members of the board of directors will include two former PN Parliamentary Secretaries namely Dr Frans Agius and Dr George Hyzler. The other members are: Mario Attard, George Micallef, Alan Borg, Joseph Muscat, Tony Zahra, Ian Tonna, Philip Saunders and Maryanne Pule. The Chairman Dr Gavin Gilia unsuccessfully contested the March 2013 general elections on the Labour Party ticket. He served both as a Parliamentary Secretary and as Minister to the then Prime Minister Dr Alfred Sant.
