PM Muscat meets Muslim Community

Prime Minister Joseph Muscat promised the Muslim community that the government will proceed with the waiver of the loan taken for Mariam Al-Batool school in Paola. Dr Muscat promised also that his government will proceed to devolve the land requested for the school's expansion. He however, let it be known that the government is investigating a process initiated but the previous government in land devolution to third parties. The leader of the Muslim community Imam Mohammed el Sadi said that that the community is in the process of establishing a Muslim Council to defend and protect the rights of the Muslim minority in Malta.
