Man from Ragusa arraigned

  Filippo Mazza 54, was earlier today arraigned in court for illegal possession and circulation of objects among which but not limited to tortoise and pesticides chemicals. Mr Mazza was accused of importing, handling and trying to negotiate these items in Malta. Magistrate Anthony Mizzi handed a fine of €500 to the man from Ragusa and ordered that all the items are confiscated. Inspector Mario Tonna prosecuted.
