€520,152 raised in aid of Puttinu

A record sum of €520,152 was raised, yesterday, during a three hour special edition of the Xarabank programme. Normally the programme discusses current affairs and political matters. However, in line with the activities celebrating the life and death of Christ, dedicated the programme towards raising funds for Puttinu Cares. Puttinu Cares helps Maltese Cancer patients and their families find accommodation in London while receiving treatment. Presenter, Peppi Azzopardi appealed to viewers to give more donations towards such a worthy cause, which over the years has helped so many.
