OPM introduces re-sits for Public Service exams

Government has announced the introduction of re-sits for those candidates who failed in their public service examinations. The recent examinations were held for posts of clerks, executive officers, assistant principals, principals and senior principals. Government said that the opportunity is being given since a number of irregularities, investigated by the Police, were found in the exams which had been held in January 2013.  Government said that after the publication of the original results, before these were changed, the need to provide redress was felt given the faults in the whole process. A revision of the paper facility was also given.  The applications for the resits will open on Wednesday and would be available on the Examinations Department website.
