Two remanded in custody over drug importation

  Two men were accused earlier today in court over the importation of a kilo of cocaine which was being transported allegedly by a Czech women. Ola Rotini Akins, a 25-year-old Spaniard from Madrid, were both accused of being associated with the women and they were also charged with planning to import the drug. Edward Cardona a 30 year old residing in St Paul's Bay was  also accused of conspiring to import the drug. Both Akins and Cardona were remanded in custody.
