Emmanuel Camilleri to be appointed acting prison director

The Ministry of Home Affairs and National Security is to appoint Mr Emmanuel Camilleri as the prison's acting director this site has learnt. Mr Camilleri has read degrees in the past related to Human Rights, Criminology and Correctional services. Currently he is employed with the Education Division. He also lectures at the University of Malta. His appointment as acting director at the CCF comes in the light of a report  which is underway to be drawn to implement a reform by end of June 2013.
