Plans underway for development of Maritime centre – Minister Cardona

[gallery ids="39267,39268"] The Government is set to publish an international expression of interest for the development of a maritime centre, in Marsa, announced Minister for Tourism and Infrastructure, Chris Cardona. During a press conference, whereby the Minister gave details on ‘European Maritime Day 2013’ set to take place in Malta on May 20; he explained that the aim behind the expression of interest is to develop some 200,000 metres squared of land into commercial facilities for the maritime industry. Minister Cardona told TVM.com.mt that the Government intends to listen to suggestions voiced by Maltese and International companies, and afterwards take action.
